Live Intentionally
This sermon explores the book of Titus and Paul's message to the island of Crete about the true nature of grace. The pastor addresses a critical theological tension: grace only works when there are parameters. The Cretans had adopted a distorted view of grace that permitted sinful living under the assumption that God would forgive anyway. Paul sends Titus to correct this misconception while also warning against the opposite extreme of legalism. The sermon emphasizes that salvation is not something we earn or chaseāit chases us. Grace is not passive but actively teaches, corrects, and disciplines us to align with sound doctrine. The central message is that we need to become reconcilers who walk alongside others in love, neither condemning through legalism nor enabling through excessive permissiveness. True transformation comes through surrendering to the Holy Spirit's work and living with intentionality, recognizing that grace disciplines us because of God's great love.
